FAQ's
How is commission paid?
Commission is paid by BACS transfer directly into your bank account.
When is commission paid?
Commission is raised 30 days after the client is financially provisioned. Commissions are paid on or
around 15th of each month. Allowing for most deals being closed in the final days of each month, 30
days takes you to the end of the next month, and then payments are made on or around the following 15th –
approximately 45 days.
Why has commission been withheld?
Where commission payments of over £500 are to be made we will check that the client has paid their invoice.
If they have not then we will withhold the commission until the next payment run. This reduces the risk
of paying you commission incorrectly which we then need to reclaim.
How do I check/change my bank account details?
You can check or change your bank account details by contacting Ian Talbot on italbot@messagelabs.com.
How can I check what commission is due, or has been paid?
You can check what commissions are due, or have been paid with Bridgette Sinclair.
You can contact Bridgette on
bsinclair@messagelabs.com or 0203 009 6623.
Will I receive details of the commission payments?
You will be sent a hard copy self billing invoice detailing each of the payments and including VAT
breakdowns so that you can account for the payments into your bank account. You will also receive
remittance advice confirming that payment has been made.
Do I need to invoice MessageLabs for my commission?
You do not need to invoice MessageLabs for your commission. As long as your Account Manager has allocated
your client against your account then commission will be generated automatically and paid in accordance
with the timescales above.
What should I do if I am missing some commission?
If you think you are missing some commission then please advise Bridgette Sinclair at bsinclair@messagelabs.com
as soon as possible. She will be able to confirm and advise you of payment.
