New MessageLabs Hosted Archiving Service

Symantec Hosted Services already takes care of email and web security for smart growing businesses. Now we’ve launched a NEW Hosted Email Archiving Service.

It’s a natural add-on if a company is already using other hosted security services and offers significant advantages over in-house archiving solutions.

What does it do?

• Archives. Hosted Email Archiving automatically stores every email to, from and within a business. Users can then have access to every email they have sent or received via Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, Blackberry, Outlook Web Access or a secure web portal. Authorised employees can search, restore and manage messages whenever they want.
  
  
• Preserves. Messages are securely stored in our data centres according to retention policies set by the company. Existing email stores can be imported from PST files, email servers or legacy on-site archiving applications to create a single, searchable off-site email archive.
  
  
• Simplifies. The archiving solution is hosted so there is no need to buy, install or maintain on-site hardware or software. System complexity and upfront capital costs are replaced by predictable monthly fees and straight forward management.
  
  
• Provides flexibility. Hosted Email Archiving works with Exchange Server, Domino and GroupWise as well as hosted email servers. Customers have the flexibility to change their email servers or move to a cloud email platform without having to change the archiving service.
